Hi, I’m Linda, a pet & wildlife artist living in Australia and since 2024 I have been helping people learn to draw the animals they love.

I didn’t start out feeling confident. For years I told myself I couldn’t draw & I thought artistic talent belonged to other people.

Back in 2022 I walked into a local gallery and saw the most beautiful artwork & I stood there thinking, I wish I could do that.

So that Christmas my kids bought me some art supplies. I began learning everything I could about pastels, graphite and charcoal. I practised. I made mistakes but I kept going.

Later that following year I entered a portrait of a baby bonobo into that very same gallery & I won first place. That moment showed me something important. Being an artist isn’t about natural talent. It’s about learning the steps and giving yourself permission to begin.

Through my Patreon channel you’ll learn how to draw realistic portraits of pets and wildlife using pastels, graphite and charcoal.
